I haven't had any questions about the Book of Mormon yet, but I think I'll go ahead and post a new topic on that as well, just to cover it. If you are curious about the Book of Mormon, please let me know, or wait for the next post on that subject. Thanks.

Let me add, if you ask a question that is specific to a particular topic, and if the question is appropriate in the scope of this blog, then I will certainly leave those entries in the comments sections. I think that makes sense, but let me know if you have questions. Thanks again for posting.

Jay,

Thanks for posting. If you'll go ahead and read my posts and comments you'll see that I plan on responding to questions primarily in the form of new posts. This is to keep things in an easy to follow order. Because the blog/comment format can be difficult sometimes, I feel that putting important questions into new posts can keep the topics easy to read and puts information where people are more likely to read it.

I've responded to some of the questions you sent, and given some insights on my plans for this blog. Primarily, I am aiming to address some of the common questions people have about mormonism. Please read the rest of the site, then let me know if you have any other questions I might be able to help you with.

Just as a note: I'll try to address your questions through posts on the blog, and not always through the comment system. This gives them more visibility so people don't have to dig through comments to see what is being asked. So, if you have a question, please do feel free to post it in the comments area, and I'll respond to it via a blog post.

Also, it is OK if you have a list of questions, but I can't promise I'll be able to write on every single one, so try to keep it to the ones that matter most to you.

I just want to add to this one. I believe that you can pray out loud or in your heart. If you're in public, or perhaps you just don't feel comfortable praying out loud, you can always just say a simple prayer in your mind.

I think most people do this automatically when they're having a hard time or when they really need help with something that only God can help them with, and I think He often answers their prayers. This is a testimony to His love and to Him being there, and I think we should always look for the answers He sends, and say "thanks" for them.
