I have a friend who is Mormon. Can I ask them a question?

Many people have a friend or co-worker who is Mormon. You may have a few questions about Mormonism or the LDS church, and a friend is probably the easiest and most reliable way to get answers. Talking to someone you trust and already know means you’ll get answers that you can believe are as accurate as possible.

Even so, you may feel uncomfortable talking about religion with your friend. I’ve often heard stories about someone who had a Mormon friend for years, but never asked the questions they had about the church because they worried that it might affect their friendship, or that it might be awkward.

The fact is, most Mormons are very willing to talk about their beliefs and about the Mormon church in general. We know and understand that people have questions, or might not really know much about our faith, and we even expect questions.

So, if you have a friend or co-worker who is Mormon, and who you’ve been wanting to ask a question to, go for it. They’ll probably be more than happy to answer your questions about the church in a casual way. If you’re not quite ready for that, feel free to ask any question you’d like right here.
